Mobile County Wetland Restoration

This 880 acre easement previously occupied by row crops and pasturelands were restored by utilizing many conservation techniques. These include creation of multiple shallow water areas that will be managed by installed water control structures, aquatic organism passages, and the enhancement of previously installed dikes for cattle ponds. Open areas consisting of 245 acres were planted to bottomland hardwoods.
